Surely you get them in EPs too?

# 45s had big holes, typically.
so they required inserts to fit on the turntable's spindle. some had built-in plastic fitters, some just had small holes, but most had large holes to speed up production. so, inserts (plastic and metal) were made and sold. i have hundreds of the stupid things.

i rather like them the 45s with big holes in them were pressed for juke boxes
