A php script I downloaded.I have very little idea how it actually works.

It's simple.php will pick a file at random from a pool of files in a directory.
It'll get the filesize and then write the header, e.g
Content type: image/jpeg\n\n
and then it will read the file from disk and squirt it out to the browser.
