Perhaps the interesting thing about this is that Trevor's real name is George
and he changed it to hide the fact that he had come from the West Indies, in a time when racism was rife in the UK and it would have seriously hindered his career to be seen to be part of a culture which was 'taking our jobs', much as it is not healthy to be a Muslim in some fields now.
He has gone on to be knighted, so it's a shame that we are reduced to an entire board full of casual racism today.
