i got fed up watching it and went in
apparently it went all orange and you could peel the moon like it had skin... then again i wasn't listening

i told my slow friend
that it went red because red photons are heavier, so get bent around the earth to turn it red, she believed, oh the joys of toying with biologists

It was amazing
You know how usually the moon just looks like a flat disc in a flat sky? Well when it was eclipsed it suddenly became incredibly clear that it's a giant ball of rock hovering in space, the perspective change made my brain hurt
