what the hell is an adsense account

and how/why would one of us get it invalidated?

and apparently the Adsense is those little Google adverts on the page that help fund the website.

It's against the terms and conditions to spam a website to get more page views & click-thoughs I think. So he's broken the rules. And that's our fault.
