THREADJACK:
I'm having a strange problem with IE, when i try to view the source of a webpage, notepad isn't opening, jus tnothing happens, but if i try to view the source of a file on my hard drive, it works fine.
Any idea what the problem coudl be?

the prob. you have a HUGE cache of websites and stuff. clear all that shite by going to your temp internet folder and deleting it manually.

happened to me once. Then I used opera.

That REALLY can screw up!

doesn't let me view 'new pages'. If a clicky
opens a new page, it just comes up blank.
Very very annoying. Hence why I only use it
when I have to on my laptop, and use Opera
everywhere else.

when i installed the latest version, think it may have done that notepad thing, plus it wouldn't launch a new window (when doing Open Link In new Window or Ctrl+N)

had to revert back to an old version

i emptied all my temp IE files and cookies, and wiped the history, adn it started working again. The odd bit being, i'd already tried that twice and nothing happened.
