# *is surprised not to have been shouted off the board*
Agreed in some ways, but that can't take away
from the fact that she was snatched from a
locked hotel room. Had she had an accident and
died due to parental absence from the room, then
I'd be more than willing to apportion blame. I
don't think it's fair to expect people to foresee
something like this happening though... Just my thoughts.

# How do we know she didn't?
Child wakes up in hotel room

Child realises parents are missing

Child goes out to find parents

Child goes to beach, not 200 yards away

Child goes into water

Child drowns and is washed out to sea

Parents try to absolve themsleves of blame: "THE WINDOW WAS FORCED OPEN!!!!"

# She'd be a pretty clever toddler
to force the window from the outside

I take your point, I just don't think blaming the parents wholesale is fair.

# I suppose that's feasible
but they would have to be cold hearted brilliant actors.

Really really cold hearted.

# like ian huntley?
didn't he go on tv and say how bad it was and hoped they were found soon?

# the question is
Why would someone actually take the trouble to break into someone to take the child, when there have to be plenty of easier targets?

# The question is
What kind of self-respecting childnapper would leave the twins behind?

# i think
the parents got hungry and ate her, then forced the window open themselves.
