I've never fished here, I did my fishing in the UK, so I don't really know the score. Having said that, I often see people fishing from highway bridges. I've only ever seen tiny little fishes caught, which get put into buckets. I guess they're for eating... though frankly anyone who eats anything from an urban river or canal in NJ is bordering on suicidal.
