This is funny, if a little large.
Welcome.
EDIT: Can anyone else smell garlic?

# Heheh
I think it's coming from the canteen. There was the aroma of fresh coffee this morning.
It's driving me nuts. I'll have to go & see what's cooking soon.

# Nah, what you need to do is make some normal white bread dough
make it into a long rectangle....

then gently fry (only a touch) some crushed garlic and basil....

spread it on the dough....

the cover in gruyere and parmesan (well, if you're me)...

roll it all up, plonk in a bread tray and bake until it's bread.

Captain's patented cheesy roulade bread.

But I was sure I could smell the early stages of a brew (ale, not tea) earlier. Turned out to be a banana.

Actually, my neighbour did just come round for some garlic.

Or it may be the stuff I tried to grow but came out really piddly and small. Never works.

I spent yesterday getting whiffs of surgical spirits. This isn't unusual in here, but nobody had been using any...

# Fair enough
According to some MP for something or other, more 10-16 year olds die from substance abuse than die from illegal drug-taking. Hmmm says I.
