# Speaking as a noob
It seems to me that a lot of you give them (us) a hard time... Sometimes for little to no reason.

# It's a test.
Training for surviving the harsh environment of Internet.

# Sounds fair
But I think being all melodramatic and "YOU'RE DESTROYING B3TA!" is a bit TOO harsh. You can just flame them for going over the 50 kb limit or posting pictures that haven't been edited or that're stolen or something.

# 1 thing I don't like is how whenever someone
goes over the 50kb limmit by 1b everyone flames them. That's a bit too nazi-ish
It's a guidline in my view, i'll pretty much think it fine if you make it 60kb, 70kb, maybe 80kb if its particularily good.

# Did I mention you twats?
No I didn't. I only mentioned us cunts.

Anyway if we were nice to everyone they'd all stay and then we'd need two talkboards!

# I never got a hard time when I joined
but then I read the FAQ and didn't rock the boat like a lot of people do

# I read the FAQ
And still made a few mistakes right at the beginning.

I think for most people it's a learning curve. Some steeper than others, obviously.
(, Sun 9 Sep 2007, 16:48, archived)
# Yeah, I made horrible mistakes
But I smartened up pretty quick.
So it's probably more of a wobbley curve :)

# it's more to do with respect I would say
a lot of people turn up here, post a crap image and call each other cnuts and think that that is a good days posting. I have no time for that.
However if you spend a bit of time and effort, make something you yourself are pleased with and then decide to post it up here you are almost guaranteed a good response.

Posting for the sake of posting and worse for the sake of trolling is easy to spot and generally disliked.
