# hmm, i want xp but not vista...
vista isn't suitable for anything below 1gb - and everything comes with it now... facking bollards! i tell thee now!

# The EULA ought to let you claim a refund for not installing Vista, regardless of what you put on it afterwards.
Vista's extreme interference with hardware (and bizarre demands placed on hardware manufacturers as a consequence, which will increase prices), of no value to the user, creating possible incompatibilities and crashes and deliberate disabling of hardware and degradations of image quality, just to prevent the possible watching of pirated DVDs, is what makes me hate it.

# yea but but but
then i gotta buy xp - which is stupid amount (unless im looking at the wrong thing?)

# Oh, you want somewhere that will still sell pre-installed XP for about £50 mark-up.
I don't know. Maybe Microsoft don't allow it any more. I mean they only allow this sort of deal to promote their operating system, and why would they want to promote the old version rather than Vista?
