
Which is only going to get cheaper once more people buy into it, which will then make it more likely people will buy it (initial hurdle etc.)...but I wish people would stop scare mongering with sad tales of kids forced to work, and ridiculously small wages.
The truth is that a lot of those areas wouldn't survive if the kids didn't work, but the wages that seem shockingly low to us go a loooong way there.
I definitely support Fair Trade where possible, but that's what we should be after fair trade, not some unrealistic wage that would upset their economy

but i do not support fair trade. As a concept it sounds fluffy, but in reality it destroys communities with arbitrarily selected producers being made disproportionately wealthy and rendering the remaining population impoverished to the point of unsustainable life.
Boycott fair trade people, educate yourselves.
