It's like a scene from the Langoliers or something here now (4:20pm Sydney). There's been a thick grey cloud mass approaching my office building from the west for most of the afternoon. Fortunately my desk faces north so I've not been able to see it but the first tendrils of the dragon's breath are now making their way over the city. Soon we will be enveloped by it...

In te reo Māori "rapi" can also be a transliteration of "rabbi". So "rapinui" could also mean "a big rabbi".
Hmmmm.
"Rāpiti" (or rāpeti) is just a common transliteration for "rabbit". "Nui" means large.
Of course, any random associations with rimjobs are perfectly welcome.
