A Tj, if I may:
Whenever I save a file in photoshop at about 50kb, it adds on loads more kb..how do I stop this?
It's getting irritating having to either save it as a low quality file that comes out at 50kb after 'VAT', or opening it in GIMP and saving it as 50kb that way.

It'll tell you how big the file will be and can tweak quality.

# Use 'save for web'
rather than 'save as'
