argh, struggling with blending, anyone help?

# Personally, I play around with image>adjustments, and then colour balance and brightness/contrast to get the colour as closely matched as I can,
then use things like smudge and blur to deal with the seams.
I'm not very good though.

Sometimes, the hardest part is finding a good source image.

then go over the blending part with a large soft eraser with about 20% opacity.

but they covered it, mess with the colours a bit,also the background is probably not making things easy, tonally it's very similar to the head.
