but i still reckon at the time the country needed a good kick in the bollocks. you must remember the power cuts, 3 day weeks and bloody bin strikes. i agree that privatising everything in site was a bad move, and like i said they never got my vote.

also.. how messed up is their electoral system? The self proclaimed champions of democracy electing their leaders through a series of rounds of voting based on the race and gender of the candidates, so convoluted that they have to fix the results, because nobody is sure how it's supposed to work.
