# Major Threadjack:
Anyone got a Canon G7?

I have some video footage I can watch, but nothing I use can convert it or edit it and youtube is ignoring it.

I can find a lot of examples of others having similar problems, but I cannot find an answer - anyone successfully converted it?

# not sure if I can help...
but what format is the video file in? AVI or Motion JPEG oh and how long is the footage?

# I do not know - it is just an AVI

# I use YASA video convertor
the trial version converts 5min max to pretty much any format

# No, you're not.
It's borked at the mo.
(It has been blocked in Pakistan, but I didn't think we'd gone that far yet.)

edit : typical, it's just reappeared!

# No idea about this particular one
but I use a program called Super (it's the top google result) for video conversions, you might try that.

# Cheers, I will try.
I use MPEG_Streamclip (which is 5squared's software) but it csannot handle these.
