Anyone got a Canon G7?
I have some video footage I can watch, but nothing I use can convert it or edit it and youtube is ignoring it.
I can find a lot of examples of others having similar problems, but I cannot find an answer - anyone successfully converted it?

I was having trouble reading that, at first, cos the usernames. The one person's is long, and so I thought they were saying to you something about how you'd never kissed a girl.
Then I got it, and LOL IRL.

Or different questions we have to answer. It's basically an essay.
Except I just ranted and channeled it int oa structured rage at things.
The coursework in this case was to write about five things we'd put into room 101.

It's a room where your worst nightmare is.
They find out what it is by monitoring you, and they torture you and "re-educate you" into being a complete drone following the political party.
You have to read it, really.
It was also a television programme where people chose things they hate and tried to persuade the host to put them into room 101, which is more of what the coursework was about. We'd just studied 1984, you see.
Edit: You would also understand "Talk Shows on Mute" if you read 1984, seeing as that's what inspired the song ;)
Hence the line "Come one, come all into 1984" and one of the reasons why I love the song so much.

Nineteen Eighty-Four (the title is not numeric, and considering you've been having a go at people for being lazy with their english you should know better) is far superior. animal farm is a great book, and an incredibly intelligent analogy, but not as good as eighty-four
down and out is a difficult read, but well worth the effort

I like Animal Farm because of the fact that I'm a history student. I study it anyway.
Nineteen Enighty-Four is entirely fictitious, despite its similarities with the world today, and I don't like it as much.
Maybe YOU like it more, but I don't.

Animal farm is also completely fictitious, it is just based around events in Russia and the USSR in the 20th century.
eighty-four is also more inventive and more structured.

just substituting the characters and settings.
I agree 1984 (oh shut up) is more inventive, and I repsect the fact that you like it more, but I don't.

it's a good 50 years starting with marx's original theories and ending with the start of the downfall of the USSR.
but it's still fictional. as i said up there ^^^^ somewhere, it's a fantastic political analogy, but it is (deliberately) far from the facts.
if it wasn't it wouldn't have stood the test of time. I first read it when i was about 8, and obviously didn't get any of the political references. also, if it was the full story of the revolution it'd be dull. as apart from the major events (which are all referenced) it was (as most revs are) quite dull
