# :O :O

# Who?
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:04, archived)
# Whenceforth?
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:05, archived)
# Romeo
Oh Romeo. Wherefore art though Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:08, archived)
# I'll pop a Capulet in your ass
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:10, archived)
# Hahahahahah
Way to ruin that. I love quoting Romeo and Juliet. It's my favorite Shakespeare play.

# Moment of truth:
your opinion on the Baz Lurrhman film?
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:11, archived)
# Well
I liked it better than than the Zeffirelli version.

Also, I read for Romeo in English class. That was awesome. It was during Act v, so I got to drink poison and die, too.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:14, archived)
# YESSSSS
the zeffirelli version, while including Basil from Austin Powers, was nothing compared to the awesome that was Baz Lurrhman's Romeo + Juliet :D

Also... you were Romeo? Forgive me when I say I can not imagine that working in the slightest!
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:16, archived)
# Exactly.
And the characters cast in Z's version it felt like...watching child porn? I dunno. The way and kissed and stuff was wrong for a 13 year old and a 16 year old. They just seemed so young. Which they're supposed to, but still.

yeah. it didn't really. This girl Aly was Paris. She has long curly hair and wears a lot of Abercrombie. It was very odd. But I did get to stab her with a remote control sword.

# Romeo + Juliet is the best version.
In my humble opinion.

# They play a Radiohead song in the ending credits.
Exit Music for a Film. ^_^
I sang along and my class was giving me funny looks. Probably didn't help that I can't sing. ^_^
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:22, archived)
# Hahah, I'm sure you sing better than me!
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:23, archived)
# Doubt it.
I've trained myself a bit, but I still suck.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:25, archived)
# I bet you can sing better than me
I seriously worry about how crap I sound on bits of my album.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:26, archived)
# Kidding me?
You sing awesome!
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:27, archived)

And I still have to buy yor album, but I only have 3 dollars right now.

# Exit Music (for a film) is one of my favourite songs of all time
it's so powerful. It's amazing.

Radiohead wrote a lot of the music in it, anyway. They wrote all the little incidental bits too, I think.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:24, archived)
# Yeah,
I'd heard that somewhere. I do like the music in that. :]
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:25, archived)
# I love that film.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:16, archived)
# I'm more partial to
"What a piece of work is a man..."
And, if I'm honest, that's only because of Withnail :)

# My favourite is Tempest.
O! Forgive me my sins!
He that dies pays all debts, I defy thee, mercy upon us!
Art thou afeared?
No, monster not I!
Be not afeared, the isle is full of noises. Sounds and sweet airs that bring delight and hurt not.
And I forget the rest of Trigg's speech part :P
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:14, archived)
# I like that last line a lot
'Sounds and sweet airs that bring delight and hurt not'. I haven't actually read Tempest. or not the play version. I read a like...story version of it or something?
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:16, archived)
# We only did a scene from it, and Jake forgot all of his lines, but I was good :)
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:19, archived)
# You were Trigg, I'm assuming?
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:21, archived)
# No, Trigg is the dick that's going out with Gemma
he played Caliban.
I was Trinculo, and Jake was Stephano.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:22, archived)
# Isn't trigg the thick one
that hangs around with Del Boy?

(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:30, archived)
# Oh yeah!
I knew I recognized that name Trigg.
(, Fri 21 Mar 2008, 3:24, archived)
