interesting thing on the telly yesterday which put forward a pretty sound argument that blew apart rather a lot of fundamental catholic beliefs.

and how their various stories have been altered over the years and bear very little relation to 'historical fact'. although as a total heathen any argument against anything the church has to say always makes me prick up my ears and pay attention. the programme maker is a believer though.

but personally i don't do fathers, sons and holy ghosts, or anything that floats around in the ether and does magik.
i do however believe my stew is about done and i need to sort out some dumplings.

nearly all my lecturers are believers but all of them are ready to admit how much hokum its all based on. We have these two evangelical types who are on the same course and watching them kick off then get throughly patronised by the lecturer makes waking up in the morning worthwhile.
i don't suppose that program will be on channel 4 demand will it?
