well, it is good to get the feel of a site via lurking before one jumps in with all three feet......but it's generally considered very bad form around here to delete threads that have been up for a while and had replies (particularly replies with pics). it's preferred that we edit a post rather than delete it, and people will generally react very badly if you do this - no harm, no foul this time, but expect to be shouted at quite a bit if you do it again.
