Not in my assignment anyway, but geez I left physics for maths to get away from the practical experimental stuff. *sneezes*
The same model works for headlice and an extension of the model considering male and female populations as two separate and interacting populations models the clap very nicely...

my old bio teacher had chicken pox three times, then got shingles, she was gutted

you usually get immunity to CP once you've had it don't you?

although if you do get it again it's usually shingles.
as it's herpes she probably got slight mutations of the virus which most people's immune systems can deal with but hers couldn't.
think there's very few diseases where you're infected by the exact same virus/bacteria twice as they evolve so quickly
