Paperhouse, sure it's 20 years old and has that 80s feel to it but it's good an there are a couple of scenes that will make you jump

the original book "Marianne Dreams" is better but the film is a very good adaption

# I remember seeing the still in production trailer for that, back when I was still into films and didn't find any entertainment a hollow escape from depressing reality.
It was terribly pretentious and awfully put together apparantly.

i keep hoping jeunet and caro will buy the rights to geek love - they'd do the best job of it (or jodorowsky, i guess). flicker (the book) is supposed to be in the works soon, but i can't recall who's involved. it's a great book.
