yes
I love that type of film, like MirrorMask, Delicatessen, Pan's Labyrinth, Paperhouse, Amelie, The Dust Factory etc.

as no-one else had ever seen it. i still need to see paper house and the dust factory, which would you recommend as my next purchase?

hmmm
Paperhouse, sure it's 20 years old and has that 80s feel to it but it's good an there are a couple of scenes that will make you jump

it doesn't have gothic weirdness like the others
it's about reality affecting dreams and vice versa
the original book "Marianne Dreams" is better but the film is a very good adaption

I remember seeing the still in production trailer for that, back when I was still into films and didn't find any entertainment a hollow escape from depressing reality.
It was terribly pretentious and awfully put together apparantly.

another brilliant film.
i keep hoping jeunet and caro will buy the rights to geek love - they'd do the best job of it (or jodorowsky, i guess). flicker (the book) is supposed to be in the works soon, but i can't recall who's involved. it's a great book.
