# i'm far from an expert on these things
but i have a chum who spends longer than i consider healthy comparing prices of stuff gave me a leaflet for this lot

the other day, his company(big firm of city solicitors)use them and the prices look good,i'm rather taken with some of the monitors.

e.g. a monitor with a contrast ratio of 800:1 is shite, whereas 1200:1 is very good, but 1800:1 is optimum.

Especially for a computer monitor, LG monitors are superb.
You never have to worry about picture quality with them. You're only problem is built-in speaker won't be great.

my speakers are off most of the time anyway. i hate things that make beeping, ping or any noises that tell me its doing something. also safeguards against unexpected horses.
