# Stop... QuantumTime

# Hahaha, you are mad and drugs.
Also I love that plug socket picture, I remember it from aaaageeeessss ago.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 2:47, archived)
# Haha, I made that and then didn't post it for ages
because it made no sense and his hands were on backwards.
Neither of which seem to have been an issue. :)

# Haha, so they are.
I've got that floating around in my b3ta folder of saved pics somewhere, I remember it from years ago along with the 'I'd love to help but my hands are sporks' picture which someone else did.

# HAHAHHA
These are all ace!

WOOOoooooooooooooooooo!!

Seriusly right..
I will start a revolution to replace you for the utter shite that G2 regards as a cartoon strip these days.. their idea is a series of one photo, with captions which insinuate peadophilia..

# I'm not sure how I'd feel about that.
They'd want new ones. On time. With jokes in it and everything.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 2:52, archived)
# It's fucking hard work.
I do a new strip twice a week and it's frankly killing me.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:01, archived)
# I hope you are actually making some decent money because you put so much fucking effort into the actual drawing compared to most comics.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:04, archived)
# I make about £2.50 a week
through advertising.

Yes the decimal point is in the correct place.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:05, archived)
# Merch and prints and stuff?
That really is quite shit, not because of the amount of effort strictly as I'm sure there are lots of people that run websites which take lots of time and effort purely as a hobby, but because of the actual quality of the stuff.

I've just started a secret project type website which I'll be only updating with four things every week and only two updates in I can already feel myself losing the will to live.

# I sell next to no merch
Maybe a hundred quid's worth of income from it in a year.

I used to sell plenty of the big Biro-art prints but now I can't get them printed cheaply enough to break even so I've stopped doing them.

Thanks for the nice words. :D

# Do you at least get lots of readers/viewers/visitors?
I could handle putting lots of effort in for no money but to know your work isn't going out to as many people as it deserves to would be a bit sore.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:17, archived)
# I get about 4 to 8 thousand page views a day
And I have around 600 RSS subscribers.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:33, archived)
# That's pretty damn good I suppose (that's not sarcasm I just honestly don't have a clue what is good numbers)
Although it makes me angry that the bloke who writes Control Alt Delete can make a living off of it and you can't, especially as he can't draw and/or write.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:38, archived)
# and the excellent punnage.
don't forget that.

Actually, I'm surprised no-one's tracked Nobby down for some of them.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:06, archived)
# Hehehe
You ain't heard nothin' yet!
I've got a doozy coming up in about a week!
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:08, archived)
# Oh YES!

# Hahahahahahaahahahahaha These are fantastic.
I laughed at all but one of those.
I'm sure I'd have laughed it if I'd have got it. It's the torso is glass beads one. Kindly elucidate.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:00, archived)
# Someone borrowed my tablet and it'd been ages since I last made one, so it's rubbish.
He wants a vase for the glass beads. The shopkeep suggests pot-pourri to accompany it but Jimny misconstrues this as a sly comment about his personal hygiene.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:05, archived)
# I thought it was that.
Thank you.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:06, archived)
# I concur.
I noted the difference in drawing style, and simply put it down to a 'guest strip'.
