at least the eccleston/rose one wasn't so bad as the martha bitch.
The reason that they don't want to have anything going between him and tate is because the last of the viewers will be left wretching things that will rivial the dr who monsters of old.

i feel the best episodes recently have been the ones minus the doctor!! so maybe i'm missing the point totally :o)

I agree completely. Now that The Moff is taking over from RTD, wemight see her as the companion for Series 5 as he wrote 'Blink'.
