# i really want to like this film, but all the trailers make it look a bit plop
heath doesn't look a patch on jack. also i think it would have looked so cool if the joker had been given an 'ichi the killer' smile with split cheeks.

# I hated fat jack in Batman
he was good when his bandages were coming off, but he was so fat and bloaty stood up.
I'm really looking forward to the new one, although I'm not keen on Batman's outfit now!

# i dunno jack was a bit camp really in the role
as marvellous as he is and was, i've always had batman and the joker dark as fuck in my head.

# me too
but heath godresthissoul just looks...boring.

# I reckon he's got the walk right
and the little knife thing that seems to be a theme in the advert makes him a lot scarier than the cartoony "big red button" enemies of yore.

# Paul Bettany would have made a marvellous Joker

# or malcolm mcdowell
tho he's too old now.

# I think M.M is great
only he can get away with starring in so much B list dross and still be cool

# He's the only reason I want to watch
the Halloween remake.

But I'll wait til its on Sky

# It's not 'that' bad as 'remakes' go
but they should keep it at just the one, and not spawn more from the same re imagining.

Still not a patch on the original, which is to be expected.

# I've got The Wicker Man in the SKY+
Lady S is scared to let me watch it in case I kick the telly in in disgust

lovable cheeky little bisexual scamp that he is

That would have been ace!

# Indeed. I was suggesting this from the start :)
I also believe it's high time Jeremy Irons hammed it up as a Bond Villain

# I think he's become a charicature now
There was glimpses in Die Hard 3 of what a good villain he could be, but I prefer the 'getting unknown foreign actors in'

Though, a while back on mi6forums I suggested Rocco Sefrredi would be a good Bond villain...

# I still - rather guiltily - enjoy Die Hard 3
It's hard not to sympathise with a character called Simon who suffers from bad headaches...

# hahahaha!
I agree... but it's only just the right side of camp

Bond needs that now like John Cleese coming back
