# well that's the thing about painting.
i know how to paint, i've taken classes in all art media since preschool, but last night after taking mushrooms i painted until 5:30 in the morning and accomplished nothing new for the artistic community. mostly, i traced visible shadows of body parts, drew dinosaurs, whales, helicopters, traced spiralling orbits around insects walking on the paper, and poured paint all over my back before rolling in fevered shame on the page. it was the most fun i've had painting in my life, but the product was less than aesthetically moving.
speaking of which, i quite admire your painting and encourage that you pursue this endeavor further. not of course without psychoactive substances though.

but then i'm thinking at the end of the year i'm going to tear it up into tiny pieces and put one on everyone's door. i'm going to add to it as often as i can throughout the year.

and I can honestly say that this wouldn't be out of place at one of their shows.

All you need to do is prepare a 10 minute talk about what you were trying to "do" with this painting.
