
first of all, you don't need to apologise for the mask work. the masks are not rude, not offensive, not demeaning or hurtful to the child. (and I really like them)
they are fun and just a tiny bit frightening -- but they're hallowe'en masks, after all. it might be worth emphasising that to her.
secondly, you should inform her that sending abusive email is dashed bad form. it's illegal, in fact. designing hallowe'en masks for children is not.

that's the crux of it - a person advertising hallowe'en masks was berated for making frightening things! i wonder if she pickets theatres showing horror films.
