I started this as an awareness picture after my other half had an allergy test and discovered she was allergic to a whole load of every day food products (print out below) but then I couldn't resist a b3ta twist.

"Right...I've got 30 and we need 50. How about...handbags... toast... zips...um, air?...crocuses?"

# It looks like it doesn't it?
We have a frined who's been and done the same thing and he's sorted himself right out so it can't all be bollox.

# I had allergy testing done once
and found out that I was allergic to the sticky tape with which they pasted the samples to my back :-(

oh and click :-)

slight TJ if I may? anyone know of the BEST optimisation method for pics plse? I'm using Gimp, but can't seem to get a stupid gif down below 55k and it's teeny-tiny. help appreciated.

# animated gif? becuase if it's animated 55kB is fine to post
if it's a still, why are you trying to save it as a gif and not a jpg or png?

# Not animated
and it's not for the board as I have a distinct failure of the hummus-gland today, sadly. Has to be a gif or a jpg, and lossybits drive me mental.

edit; the jpg came out at 115k... waaay too big. probly because I'm hungover and an idiot though.

Thanks for bothering to reply though, really appreciated.

# Trying
to help out one of my brothers, setting up web pages for email over amateur radio. Because I've been involved with computers since I was 16 (I'm 56 now and a major b3ta lurker) and machines were the size of small bungalows, then it follows that I must know everything about them, oh yes.....

# I love the broad age spectrum on here!
Good luck! I wish I could help but my web design skills are shite to say the least, I must get with it soon.
(, Tue 14 Oct 2008, 10:18, archived)
# SNAP!!
my web design skills though are on a par with my synchronised swimming skills. Big Fat Zero. but given my background obviously I know everything even VAGUELY related to computers: all of it. (well it's on a computer so fix it!!)

Fat Chance.

I agree totally though, age has nothing to do with ones sense of hummus; bring it on !!

edit: my body is 56, but my brain thinks it's 12 as usual :-)

# Poor Sausage!
I reckon most people are allergic to Chlorine, in fairness.

Well, drinking it, anyway.
