# america's neighbours are foreign countries don't forget.
she's been single-handedly protecting uhmurka from the commies.

# i could just about cope with her, she's as thick as shit and everyone knows it
but she doesn't look too bad. be a love and just stand there, say nothing, look pretty for the cameras and don't touch any of the buttons.

# that's what concerns me...
the republicans do have some politicians who would do a decent job as president.
however, my mostly uninformed opinion is that it seems that the Republicans have backed marketable products (ex-soldier + soccer milf) rather than a more intelligent politician like Giuliani.

I can't help thinking that Simon Cowell will be deciding presidential candidates in a few years.

# oh god
giuliani is a psychotic wingnut. you know what the strongest argument for his nomination was? "he fixed New York, he can fix America"

he hid behind 9/11 even worse than McCain hides behind his POW status

# I agree. If I was an american, I wouldn't be supporting him either.
he manipulates the media well though. In the bit of the debate I've seen, and a few other McCain appearances, he comes across as a bumbling oaf and would surely become as sadly hilarious as George W. should he become president.

I didn't necessarily mean Giuliani would be my choice from the other possible republicans, just that he's a politician, McCain and Palin seem like they're trying hard to pretend to be politicians and failing. It might not count against them when it comes to the vote though, that's the terrifying thing.

# i assure you i am far less well informed but nonetheless strongly opionated
last night was actually the first time i'd heard mccain utter a word, i made up my mind that he was a waste of space within 2-3 minutes, i just don't like the look of the guy and he talks crap, that nice obama on the other hand, he's the man.

# yes, I have also been mostly avoiding it.
I only saw the Palin interviews last night, with her stuff about Russia.
I was suprised about how idiotic she sounds.

# no no

# :S
I'd heard about this previously, but only on b3ta. I must look into it. Poor meese.

If I was going to kill a moose, I'd fight fair. Duct tape big sticks to my head, and fight to the death.

# Duct tape, perhaps with a pair of bazookas

Either way, I want the other animal to win :)

# I think you should put a tenner on me anyway.
The odds of me winning would be pretty slim, but you'd get pretty rich if I got lucky.
Edit: Woo to the pic, incidentally. It's very nice.
