I hate the fact that people are speaking up for him now, and that they hope he'll bounce back and that.

The others involved have had the decency to "fall on their swords" and resign - I wish he'd do the same.

To be dismissed by a prudish BBC will do nothing to harm the man's career.

be speaking up for him but I suppose it's unavoidable'
I like ross, in the main. He's witty, a bit geeky, likes the things I like. He's a bit crude at times and for a TV personality in the 'mainstream' he ought to have more consideration for the things he says but sadly I believe he has the sort of mouth that works whilst totally disengaged from the brain.
Bounce back? What from. It's not going to dent his earning potential in the slightest.
Resign? He could have done but again, it would have been a fruitless excersise given the amount of people who would have been baying for his services . ( We'd all be fucking up if we could breech our contracts, resign ad broker a better deal elsewhere )
Yeah he's been a prick ( and he has no-one else to blame. He set this whole thing off. ) but it's not going to haunt anyone that at the end of the day he was a bit schoolboyish in announcing that his mate had fucked some tramp who happened to have a famous grandfather. ( to the grandfather of course. That's a bit ripe, but I did worse as a kid )
The stuff that followed was terrible and childish and would have gotten anyone the sack ( or the option to resign ) except Ross. He is the beebs biggest asset and I can quite believe that there would be an excuse and a fix if he were seen fucking the queen up the wrong-un live on Saturday evening.

but this is why kids today are growing up with a f*** you attitude.
They see pr**ks like Ross etc get away with things and think it's ok to do it themselves.

He's into his films and likes trash culture, and he's quite good with fans, I've heard. He's just so arrogant and ubiquitous that I've got a pretty low tolerance of his antics. We're stuck with him, anyway.
