Rather than the landslide 'electoral college' thing, 350 to 160 or so, the per-person count is just 60m to 54m.

That's still waaaaay closer than I like. So the USA is only on probation at this stage - it's still stuffed full of freaky nutters who'll vote for mad incompetents.
