I should have his old eletric shavers from the 60's-70's.
1) My stubble is generally too thick for lekky shavers.
2) They were so old they had a battery box which you had to plug the cable into and you had to change the batteries every 30 seconds or the motors would slow down and just start pulling randow clumps of beard out).
3) The blades were blunt and antiquated.

I go occasionally with I want to treat myself. You really do feel great afterwards and there's no closer shave you can have.

I 'inherited' my nan's husband's (does that make him my step-granddad or my grand-step-dad, or what?) electric razor when I was a young Raff. It was shite. Having never used anything else, though, I assumed all razors were designed to rip the hairs from your face with violence, rather than actually cut them with sharpness.
