I don't care when they're dead, but in fairness, they did fight for all of our freedom, and went through things most of us never will.
Hats off to them, the three surviving WWI veterans, and they're all in wheelchairs, my conclusion: War hurts your legs.

My Grandad was one of the many that didnt come back from sticking it to ze-germans.

But if we never looked past any of the tragedies in life, it wouldn't be very fun now :(

He was in the City of London Post Office Regiment (honest, their motto 'always late and at the wrong battlefront'). got blown up twice and then delivered post in Italy, inc to Mussolini and had tea with Mussolini's sister, then became a Preacher in the Methodist church
