# It's on both consoles, no?
I was playing a demo of something that may have been that the other day, it was good. I don't think it was that though.

The gun could raise and lower the ground.

# Possibly
but it's buggiest and least attractive on the PS3, (The Xbox360 and PS3 managing what equate to only 'medium' settings on the PC version according to bethsoft but the PS3 one with lower texture detail and no AA due to memory and shader limitations) and on the least attractive controller. Also, only the PC and 360 will get downloadable extra content.

Also, no, Fallout 3 had no such feature so I doubt you're describing it. Still, I heartily recommend you play FO3, I just finished it after several days of slog through the wasteland and... dear god that ending was depressingly beautiful.

# Ah well.
I'll console myself with MGS4 again. I'm still not done with that game, I'm trying to play it with NO alerts on hard at the moment.

The words 'very', 'fucking' and 'hard' don't begin to cover it.

# Fallout 3 is more reliable on XBOX than PS3
Tragically for console junkies it's 100% awesomely better than both on PC, as is everything other than singstar and driving games, unless you've got a steering wheel for your PC in which case dude, seriously. ROCK.

# I doubt I'd be getting it anyway, to be honest.
It's not really my sort of thing.

# it's very good, but I concede that it may require
"my sort of thing" attractiveness to get one to play it wnough to unlock teh funs.

# Not my sort of thing?
I thought post-apocalyptic survival horror with guns had global appeal ;)

# No raising and lowering of ground encountered yet.
- suppose it might be that I've not got a big enough gun.

I strongly recommend the game, whatever platform. I've been told that it doesn't run quite so smoothly on PS3, but that could just be rubbish.

# Can't be the same game, then.
That's a shame, I was thinking' fucking hell, a penis game with an interesting feature' but alas. Whatever game I WAS playing the demo of, I recommend it.

# penis game meaning first-person-shooter?
where the gun is the cock?

if so, hmm.

# Nooo, watching blokes play those sorts of games
their penises get closer and closer to the telly. Hence 'penis game'.
(, Tue 25 Nov 2008, 15:59, archived)
# how odd
I've never noticed my button mushroom getting closer to the telly when playing.

Ah well. Perhaps I'm not playing naked enough.

# bums shuffling forward on the sofa, I think
rather than cock magnetism.

# I'm an oddity there
the more into the game I get, the more I relax back into the loving arms of the sofa.

Dave does, admittedly, end up with barely 1mm of sofa supporting him as he tilts madly toward the TV.

# i think
that you're describing what the cap'n is referring to

legs sliding forwards off the sofa as you relax more and more into a suppine position
