Me and a good mate - been mates for years, and were sharing a couple of joints. We were LOCKED into it - not so much C4 as chess, and it was his go. We were both staring at the board, working out moves, counter moves, and strategies, when, without moving, he suddenly went - "Oh! I've won!" hahahahaha

I played stoned chess with a mate, thinking that since the only game I had for the PC for a while was Battle Chess, that would make me an expert. He whipped me in about 20 minutes, which is when I considered that playing against, and beating P2 (controlled by me) on Battle Chess, does not necessarily mean that I am good at proper chess.

Take XBOX by the bottom left corner and the top right corner- remove all wires from the back and lay carefully on front step. Kick it the fuck into the road. Get a PS3. \o/ Hurrah!

Oh, and books-wise, I demand that you all go out and buy anything by Charles Stross. The man writes a damned good book.

I was playing a demo of something that may have been that the other day, it was good. I don't think it was that though.

but it's buggiest and least attractive on the PS3, (The Xbox360 and PS3 managing what equate to only 'medium' settings on the PC version according to bethsoft but the PS3 one with lower texture detail and no AA due to memory and shader limitations) and on the least attractive controller. Also, only the PC and 360 will get downloadable extra content.
Also, no, Fallout 3 had no such feature so I doubt you're describing it. Still, I heartily recommend you play FO3, I just finished it after several days of slog through the wasteland and... dear god that ending was depressingly beautiful.

I'll console myself with MGS4 again. I'm still not done with that game, I'm trying to play it with NO alerts on hard at the moment.

Tragically for console junkies it's 100% awesomely better than both on PC, as is everything other than singstar and driving games, unless you've got a steering wheel for your PC in which case dude, seriously. ROCK.

I strongly recommend the game, whatever platform. I've been told that it doesn't run quite so smoothly on PS3, but that could just be rubbish.

I think the problem with that is that the objects in focus are too far away, the brain won't accept it's a model...
(but I don't know really)
