I know :( im not happy at all about having to make it.but seriously Brett Lee is out of form. Stuart Clarke is injured. We don't have a decent spinner and two (Hayden and Ponting) of the top order are lose limbs, although I don't think Hayden will be selected and I suspect Ponting will come good soon. Australian cricket is not in good shape and I suspect that will be the scoreline if the poms can hold it together.

the batting has been carried by the middle and lower order of late.all decent scores often made scratchily with a dash of luck, but nothing magical and marvelous, everyone making 30 or 40. I wouldn't say it was of a similar strength of a couple of years ago.
Katich and Haddin made tons against the kiwis, but the only decent bowler they've had on the tour was Vettori.
I think I'll go and read the score cards from the Eng-Ind series...
