speaking of truffles, i saw a twit in the supermarket today pointing out a cheap box of chocolate truffles to his friend and telling him that they were a good bargain because truffles are usually very expensive and they hire pigs in france to find them three feet below the earth's surface.

maskwoman's boss, the owner of the company, threatened me with legal action so i called his bluff and he vanished without apologising. it was so anticlimactic that i keep hoping something else will happen.

i checked with a law type i know (not so i could sue, but so i could threaten in a credible manner). i thought about going to the press too, but i can't imagine what angle they'd use to generate interest. and no, it was abundantly clear that no apology would ever come my way, so i'm saving my retribution for when they are no longer expecting anything to happen (revenge, that delightful cold dish).

in any event, look for a post announcing their name in the new year.
