It bored me so much

Mine was ace!
Just me my mum and her husband, a 6 kilo turkey, 3 kilo ham, enough pigs in blankets to choke a large pony, plenty of Sage and Onion, and no Brussel Sprouts. Not because I dont like them mind, just because my mum refused to cook them properly as she does every year!
What did you have in God's own country?

Sprouts are sooo underrated
They're boiled to death and taste like shite! Parboil them, and sautee them with butter, black pepper and bacon. Taste fantastic!

Exactement!
I myself quite love them finely sliced, and then tossed in a bowl with cooked lardons.

I seem to have forgotten to mention that they were meant to be sliced:P
Schools! An evil regime set up to spread bad propaganda about shrouts!
EDIT: I didn't touch sweetcorn or beetroot until I was about 20 as the crap I got as school was tinned or pickled!

Ha!
It isn't schools that are the problem. It is just the history of the roast in GB. It absolutely sucks! I did mean raw though. I fucking love raw sprouts!

I've heard that.
Never tried it though. THere's a new channel 4 food fight again this Jan which will be interesting seeing the changes it made to the food industry last years.

Is it a proper food fight? can i play? I have a freezer full of frozen pheasants, and i reckon a spout tree would make quite a formidable weapon! oooohhh fun times!

truly a shit way to treat animals
i only eat free range and we have our own hens too, battery rescues, i hate the way they turn living things into a proper soulless factory process.
