so, who else was crazy enough to commute into work this morning?

(edit: strangely I was only 10 mins late in this morning, and everyone else on teh road seems to think it's the apocalypse, but with snow and ice instead of fire and brimstone)

# They were saying it'll be the snowiest since the 90's
When I was at Uni then there was a hill from the Halls to the main campus, it was a slight incline then right at the end a proper black ski slope gradient. You could take a running jump and skid down the icy snow all the way to the black ski slope, then you realised you weren't going to stop.

# well, the roads were empty, london midland trains were all delayed,
but those nice people at virgin laid on a train for us all, and as you say, the northen line is fine... Now there are about 3 people in the office.

# normally, that would be a torrent of sarchasm, but today, as they let us all on a nice comfy warm train,
meaning I could get into work almost on time (grrr) I guess I can stretch to calling them "nice" for a change
