# Haha
we watched seagulls on a beach one summer, picking up some kind of shells from the sand, flying up, then dropping them on the rocky part of the beach until they broke open and swooping down to eat them.
Then we noticed this one gull who was having some conceptual difficulties. It was picking up the shells, flying up with them, then swooping down, landing, dropping the shells gently on the sand, then pecking at them mournfully, obviously confused about why it wasnt' working out.
