but until the fibre optic cables are everywhere I can't see the UK being the best place for it. My connection out here in the sticks is no use for online Tekken and stuff :(

despite the naysayers. After recently upping to 50Mb they say that by the time BT manages to get its 29 test areas ( only 2 rural and all already serviced by high speed cable, I thought that they were allowed to roll this out and set their own charges to others for improving coverage in the UK, not for attempting to grab a slice of NTL's pie? Anyway, that's another story )on fibre to the cabinet and on 40Mb-60Mb speeds, NTL will be offering 100 to 150Mb packages across the network.
