myself, i know how hard it is- and how photos somehow steer it all wrong.
The mouth and teeth are excellent but the lower face is all wrong.
Proportions are good though; although the nose is a little long.
My advice: Pick a better model to practice on!

mofaha suggested him, and I figured everyone knows what he looks like, so if I fuck it up, at least people know who I was trying for. x]

But if you really want to draw people; draw people, not freaks. When you get THEM right, try the exotic. I've given up for now doing portraits. The good ones looked like i had overdosed on filters and the bad ones looked...bad.

it's just like...I'm asking for general help. I'm sure plenty of people think he's a freak, but really he isn't. I have the utmost respect for him as a musician and he is a human.
I don't think, when I'm asking for advice on how to improve, that opinions on the person themself really help me, y'know?
I didn't mean to sound pissy or anything. Sorry.

And after this post i really am off to bed.
I don't know the guy from Adam; I've seen him on telly. But he looks wierd. Good for him etc. I wanted to too when i was 15. But that wasn't the point.
You want to get better at art. As you know, I happen to think you are quite good at it.
THE POINT: If you attempt to draw a subject that already looks a little odd to the average human, then your art will look odd plus a factor of 5, or more. This works in Japan. If you want to draw, as in DRAW people, start with fred next door, not Pete Burns or whatever his name is.
Anyway Bed nite etc.
