it's probably for the best you'd probably want to put your foot through the telly if you could..nothing but yoof progs and adverts for upcoming ch4 yoof progs..the static is annoying me more at the mo..

check for local sources of interference first e.g. microwave on nearby, hoover on, speaker from music system next to screen
none of that - then work out what your local transmitter is

and then check on known issues for ch4 (last 4 items in the list)

have you tried turning it off, unplugging it, plugging it back in and turning it back on again?
