# well that didn't work for me... the doc is sending me to physio, and suggested a joint-injection
fecker decided to 'wait and see' before getting me an xray. I still have to come into work

oh, and the anti-inflammatories give me stomach cramps.

# Ha ha ha! Gutted.
Torn ligaments and soft tissue damage apparently.

# ooouuuch! you'll be off that for a while :S
wise words from my doc, who I'm sure isn't registered or something:

"Well, theoriginalsteve, if you did break anything in your ankle, it should have healed by now, so I'll just send you to the physio first and see how that goes."

# I hope not.
I plan to rest it for a couple of days, and if it isn't better then, fuck it. I'll just cripple myself. This is what happened to me yesterday....

# hahahah!
honestly, don't - stay off it.

I badly twisted my ankle just before christmas (the sort of thing where you hear a *pop* and see the the sole, then scream like a little girl).

I had to take a few days off as it hurt THAT much... I didn't see the doc at the time (first mistake), and it's been painful ever since as I haven't stayed off it (second).

Now, i cannot physically jog, let alone run, and I have an idiot doctor who kept asking me when I finally saw him last week "what do you think is wrong with it" after I described in detail what happened and where it hurts.
