as i understand it Twitter is just facebook with everything but the statuses taken out.i wish i'd thought of that. i'd be rolling in it by now.

I'm still not sure how the Twitter people make moneyThere are a lot of "I secretly wish I'd thought of it first" people on the internets saying they have no business plan.

I cannot conceive of any way to make money from short messagesapart from:
a) adverts on the twitter page
b) charging people to tweet
hmmm. I guess those are actually quite reasonable ways.

It doesn't make money.I think they were hoping to be bought by now.
Someone invented a distributed version that would continue without the need for central servers, but it's not likely to take off until Twitter dies.
