So, I think I have pectus carinatum, otherwise known as pigeon-chest. Unfortunately it doesn't give me the super-powers depicted in this image. It can be fairly serious in severe cases, but I think mine is only mild. The main problem is the physical appearance and the psychological problems that can be brought about from this, which I think I have. PC can be caused by various syndromes, most commonly being Marfan Syndrome. There are only three treatment options: - Surgery, which I don't want to go through. - A chest brace, which is only available in the USA and I am too old for now - Bodybuilding, which disguises it somewhat. My question to you is: should I see a doctor who will most likely confirm my beliefs, or am I just being a hypochondriac? Oh, and should I make a sandwich? Sorry for the whiney, self-obsessed nature of this post. Hope you enjoyed the picture at least :P

I've been doing karate for a while now, they get you to do plenty of push-ups there :P Also: it hasn't helped a whole lot as of yet.

Even if it is, it's better than the alternative pectus excavatum - essentially the opposite of PC
No offence to anyone with PE, of course.

Sorry for failure to take you seriously...
If it's making you unhappy, then I say go see a doctor. A doc can confirm if you have pectus whatsit or not, tell you if it's likely to cause you any problems, and discuss your options. It might not be too late for a chest brace, surgery may be less scary than you think, etc. You have now used up my seriousness quota for the week, don't expect any more :P
