# Did he actually mention b3ta or was it just a bit of text at the start of the video?
I'm about 2 minutes in and haven't heard anything about us.

# The interviewer, Kirk Rutter, is b3ta's 'roving reporter'
he did the Patrick Moore interview
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:13, archived)
# ahhhhh
that explains alot

But did he not tell Icke who B3ta was or ask us for questions to ask like he normally does?
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:18, archived)
# can you imagine the questions that would be asked?
probably best left as it was.

# for once in my life I'm starting to believe Mr. Icke

there's something not right about this whole swine flu nonsense

# Oh Prodge :(
I warned you about taking off your tinfoil hat ;)

# it's just the press over hyping something, relax
There's no conspiracy, there's a new strain of flu, like the other strains that kill hundreds of thousands of people on this planet every year. To stop it being a global killer like the previous ones they create a vaccine and hand it out - like the flu jab that old people are recommended to take.

You don't have to take it, you can have a go at fighting it yourself and if you're healthy you should be ok. no biggy.

The problem is the press whipping something so small (in comparison to other illnesses, drinking deaths, car accidents etc) in to a thing that nags at peoples minds.

# Old people?
I have a flu jab every year :(

# I'm with you on this Maxi.
Asthma too?
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:35, archived)
# Yeah
I used to get really sick when I was younger, always getting bronchitis after the flu.
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:36, archived)
# Fair enough,
Luckily I have never had the Flu bad, but chest infections were very common :(
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:38, archived)
# I didn't say there was a conspiracy and I know it's a new strain of flu

I said I believed in some of the things he said..like the ability for the body to fight the flu by itself.
without the help or fear mongering that this government is becoming so good at
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:43, archived)
# In most cases yes, but something like 0.5% of people who catch it are dying.
Doesn't sound like much, but with the numbers who are likely to be affected it could run to thousands.
There's also the issue that having the vaccination means you're less likely to get ill and take a week off work, which is why health workers are near the front of the queue, to ensure there aren't massive staff shortages just when they're most needed.
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:49, archived)
# if they die, It gives me more chance of getting a job

I don't fucking care
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:51, archived)
# An interesting stance.
In other news, I feel pretty rough this morning and visited Birmingham at the weekend.
Maybe I won't be needing the vaccine afterall.
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:55, archived)
# it's not the gorvernment at all
its the press fearmongering, the World Health Organisation have as usual looked at the virus, created what they consider a preventative reponse and that's that. Same as they always do, the only problem here is the media.
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 9:50, archived)
# yea sure..nothing to do with them at all

pffh

# I'm not telling you how to formulate crack-pot theories,
but I'd have thought the pharmaceutical companies making the vaccines are the ones with the most to gain
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 10:02, archived)
# so me not buying into the whole
"we must all get this vaccine...DOOM DOOM", shite from the news and politicians makes me a crack pot then so be it.
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 10:18, archived)
# I'd go along with HappyToast about it being mostly the media.
Although I haven't felt at all pressured to get a vaccine. It's been made very clear that for someone of my age in good health has nothing much to fear from swine flu.
If I were elderly or had a compromised immune system or whatever, I'd snap it up if it could potentially save my life, or at least prevent a lot of unpleasantness.
(, Wed 15 Jul 2009, 10:24, archived)
# well my life's so shit I couldn't care less about it..
