Yes, this. I thought Top Gear was there to be able to give us mere mortals a taster of what it is like to drive a car like that - not try and make us feel sorry for people who can not afford them anymore

Top Gear in my very humble opinion has long since disappeared up its own botty. I mean, look at the state of Hammond as he is leading into the piece about the Aston Martin

He looks like a middle-aged lesbian who has been dragged through a hedge and raped by an unexpectedly large vibrator

but he is clearly the best of all 3. He shows a genuine interest in technology, be it in cars or alternate energy sources (great show that by the way).

It may be a slightly boring interest, but I'd take that any day over that complete tosspot Clarkson.
